Voluntary aid mission in Uganda 2025
Six helpers, three provinces
In January, Apwoyo e. V. again travelled to Uganda with six helpers to support the population directly on the ground. As in previous years, orphans and widows were at the centre of the work.
Our projects are spread across several communities in the provinces of Kalaki, Ngora and Hoima. It mattered to us that the local people and the children were involved in the work. In this way they keep their pride — and our work becomes their project.
The main project: a health station in Katulikire
In the Hoima district we began building a health station, actively supported by Father John, one of our trusted people on the ground.
“The construction work at the health station is so extensive that it will keep us busy for years to come.” — Ingbert Dawen
