Apwoyo e. V. works entirely on a voluntary basis

Nobody here is paid. Those who travel to Uganda cover their flight, food and accommodation themselves. That is why we can say your donation arrives in full.

On our project trips around 13 helpers from Germany work together with some 50 people on the ground. Building, renovating, measuring, distributing and organising happen together — nothing is done over people’s heads.

Helping from Germany

You can achieve a great deal without a plane ticket: collecting and sorting glasses, preparing clothing and shoe donations, staffing information stands, doing public relations work, launching fundraising campaigns in clubs, schools or parishes.

Travelling to Uganda

If you can imagine coming along and lending a hand on site, you are welcome. Practical skills, medical knowledge, or simply time and willingness — much is needed. Get in touch and we will talk about the next trip.
